Muscat – The dispute arose after the consumer had agreed with the agency to provide a range of tourism services for a cruise trip, which included accommodation, guided tours, ticket booking, and visa processing.
The consumer paid the full amount upfront, but the agency delayed the service and later informed the consumer that it would be unable to fulfil its commitments.
Following the CPA’s intervention, a refund of RO 4,956 was issued to the consumer, representing the full amount paid for the services.
