Muscat: Eng. Ahmed bin Khamis Al Kasbi, Director General of Al Mazyouna Free Zone, emphasized the forum’s pivotal role in boosting trade ties, particularly between Oman and Yemen. Organized in collaboration with the Public Authority for Economic Zones and Free Zones and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event will serve as a dynamic platform for local and international companies to explore investment opportunities, build strategic alliances, and expand into regional markets.

“The forum is an important event targeting local and international institutions and companies, and aims to provide an ideal platform for the business sector to explore investment opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and expand regional markets, by attracting service companies, factories, brand agents, car showrooms, import and export companies, logistics companies, food product suppliers, and small and medium enterprises,” Al Kasbi stated to Oman News Agency.

A highlight of the forum is its facilitation for Yemeni traders and shoppers, who can attend without an entry visa, requiring only an electronic permit. This initiative reflects the zone’s commitment to streamlining cross-border trade and enhancing its position as a vital link between Oman and Yemen.

Al Kasbi noted that the event will showcase products and services, particularly targeting sectors like automotive, import-export, logistics, and SMEs. By providing an exceptional opportunity for stakeholders to engage, Al Mazyouna Free Zone continues to underscore its significance in bolstering the national economy and fostering regional economic integration.
