Muscat: The earthquake, measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale, was recorded at 11:45 a.m on Monday.
The Earthquake Monitoring Center at Sultan Qaboos University has recorded a mild earthquake in the Wilayat of Shaleem and the Hallaniyat Islands, located in the Dhofar Governorate.
According to the center, the epicenter was situated approximately 190 kilometers northeast of Salalah, the region’s largest city.
