MUSCAT : In a public reminder, the Central Bank of Oman emphasized the importance of exchanging phased-out currency notes to streamline currency circulation and align with updated monetary policies.
CBO has urged individuals holding obsolete banknotes to visit any CBO branch or authorized exchange centers promptly to complete the process without delay.
After the December 31 deadline, old banknotes will no longer be accepted for transactions, impacting their usability.
