MUSCAT : As part of ongoing efforts by Oman Airports and PDO to uphold the highest standards of emergency preparedness at oilfield airports, under the supervision of the Civil Aviation Authority and in collaboration with strategic partners, including the Royal Oman Police, Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority, Royal Air Force of Oman, and TRANSOM Handling, the drill aims to test and refine emergency response procedures.
Residents and travelers may notice an increase in the movement of ambulances and emergency vehicles to and from the airport during the exercise. Authorities assure that all necessary precautions have been taken to ensure smooth airport operations and minimal disruption to traffic in the surrounding areas.
