Muscat: According to the Earthquake Monitoring Center at Sultan Qaboos University, a moderate earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale was recorded in the Arabian Gulf today at 11:10 am.
The epicenter of the tremor was located approximately 121 kilometers northwest of Khasab, Oman.
