DUBAI: The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has declared a two-day holiday for employees of federal ministries and entities in celebration of the UAE’s 53rd National Day. The announcement extends the upcoming weekend, giving residents a four-day break to mark the historic occasion.
The holiday is set for Monday, December 2, and Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Work will resume on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, and the regular weekend will be on Saturday and Sunday.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) also announced that December 2 and 3 will be a paid public holiday for private sector workers in the UAE on the occasion of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad.
