Muscat: The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has reported alarming incidents involving the Israeli army, which fired on UN positions three times in southern Lebanon within just 24 hours. Two UN personnel were wounded in these attacks, which also involved the deliberate shelling of UN security cameras.
In response to the escalating tension, UNIFIL had raised concerns over the positioning of Israeli military vehicles and troops in close proximity to their posts.
