SAUDI ARABIA: This update comes just three days after officials disclosed that the 88-year-old monarch was undergoing tests following a lung infection diagnosis.
In May, the royal court had first revealed King Salman was grappling with a lung ailment, accompanied by symptoms such as high fever and joint pain. At that time, he received a treatment program that included antibiotics, and a swift recovery was announced shortly after.
On Tuesday, Crown Prince Mohammad expressed optimism about his father’s well-being, reassuring cabinet members during a meeting.
