MUSCAT : The Ministry issued a statement to categorically state that the of Royal Emblem, images of the Royal palaces, and pictures of the Royal Mosques on various commercial products are prohibited without obtaining a licence from the ministry.
This includes the image of the State Emblem, the State Flag, and the map of the Sultanate of Oman, provided that they adhere to regulations regarding the naming of the National Day.
The Ministry emphasized that these symbols are significant representations of the Sultanate’s heritage and identity and their unauthorized use is strictly forbidden. For those wishing to use specific images and logos, a license can be obtained from the Ministry.
The Ministry has emphasized that it will take necessary legal measures against any individuals or entities found to be violating these regulations.
