Muscat: In a travel update issued on March 9, 2026, SalamAir confirmed that flights to and from Iraq, Lebanon, and Iran have been suspended until March 28, 2026. The airline also stated that services to and from Kuwait, Sharjah, Doha, and Dammam will remain suspended until March 20, 2026.
The airline said the operational changes come as a precautionary response to airspace closures in certain destinations linked to the evolving regional situation.
SalamAir emphasised that the safety and well-being of passengers and crew remain its highest priority. The airline noted that it is closely monitoring developments and will continue to provide timely updates as more information becomes available.
