Muscat: In an official statement, Oman conveyed its sincere sympathy to the leadership and people of the UAE, as well as to the families of the victims who lost their lives in the accident.
Two members of the UAE Armed Forces died on Monday in a helicopter crash caused by a “technical malfunction”, the UAE Ministry of Defence announced on Monday.
The two officers died while “performing their national duty in the country,” the ministry announced.

The Sultanate described the incident as a painful loss and reaffirmed its solidarity with the UAE during this difficult time. Oman also extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, expressing hope that they find strength and comfort in the face of the tragedy.
