DOHA: His Excellency Sayyid Saeed bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Culture, represented Oman at the meeting.

During the session, attendees reviewed a variety of agenda topics, focusing on the activation of the cultural strategy through a robust annual plan aimed at enhancing joint Gulf events and activities. A key highlight was the initiative to revitalize the culture statistics platform, which will provide vital statistical data on the website of the Statistical Center for the GCC States.

Additionally, the meeting fostered discussions on the areas of collaborative cultural work between GCC nations and various sister countries, as well as international bodies and institutions engaged in cultural affairs. The Undersecretaries also addressed the follow-up on the implementation of decisions made during the 27th meeting of the Ministers of Culture, underscoring the importance of continued cooperation in cultural initiatives across the region.
