As of midday Tuesday, preorders surpassed 4 million, indicating strong consumer interest. Huawei’s Richard Yu emphasized the company’s dedication: “We have spent five years striving for this.”
In contrast, Apple’s iPhone 16 series, starting at $799 for the base model and $1,199 for the Pro Max, will also be available for preorders this Friday, with in-store sales kicking off on the same day as the Mate XT.
