Sprouts are known to be healthful food. Sprouts are created when beans, grains, or seeds germinate. Their nutritional value is improved as a result. Although most people choose to include sprouts in their salads, sprouts are a nutritious Indian meal that can be eaten for breakfast or as a late-night snack.
Sprouts are also a nutritious choice for office workers’ lunches. Because the protein in sprouts aids with growth, even children consume them in salads. Since homemade sprouts have a higher nutritional value, are cleaner, and are generally healthier, most people are curious about how to produce them at home.
Growing sprouts indoors is simple and requires no special tools or techniques. Because we can regulate the quality of the beans or seeds used and they are always fresh, sprouts grown at home are also preferable.
Sprouts are high in metabolism and help with weight reduction; nutritionists advise eating them daily for these and other health advantages. Due to its high protein content, sprouts are favoured by those trying to control their weight.
One can also use organic beans and lentils to get the most out of sprouts. While a variety of seeds, grains, and beans can be used to make sprouts, most people choose moong or chana sprouts. Moong sprouts are the most common kind of sprout and have a high nutritional value. They may be added to soups or other green moong dishes or eaten raw or cooked with other raw veggies. Sprout salads are so popular that they are served at weddings and other social gatherings.

Directions:
1) Each of the three lentils should be washed and soaked for a full day or overnight. Drain all the water from the soaked lentils the following day and give each soaked variety a separate wash. Gather three dish towels or any other type of cotton fabric. Cover a dish with each towel. Put each wet lentil into the appropriate cloth.
2) Secure the knot, pull the fabric tight, and store the bowl in a dark location for at least 12 hours, if not longer. Keep the bowl exposed.
3) To make the kitchen towel a little bit moist, scatter some water over it every twelve hours. After a day, the green moong and moth beans would have blossomed. A few more hours could be needed for the Kala chana.
4) Wash the lentils once they have sprouted. Keep chilled in containers for a maximum of three days.
