Muscat – The projects include remote attendance system that is accessible via smartphones, an office phone application tailored for inspectors, and a business intelligence indicators system focusing on the training sector.

These initiatives mark a significant stride towards realizing the goals outlined in Oman Vision 2040, particularly in advancing governance and institutional performance. The projects ensure the provision of accurate databases that will help in measuring performance, improving the level of public services, and achieving the goals associated with digital transformation. They will also contribute to improving and raising the efficiency of the digital business environment in the government sector.

Khalid bin Isa bin Salem Al Ameri, Director General of Administrative and Financial Affairs, elaborated on the significance of these endeavors, emphasizing the transformative impact they will have on streamlining operations and enhancing productivity. The smartphone attendance system, for instance, promises to revolutionize time management by providing a convenient and flexible means of documenting employee attendance within CPA premises.

Similarly, the introduction of office phone applications for inspectors is poised to optimize communication and resource allocation, thereby facilitating seamless coordination in monitoring market regulations and combating commercial fraud.

It also replaces traditional methods such as fingerprinting or smart cards.

Regarding the application of office phones for inspectors in the sectors of monitoring market regulation and commercial fraud, Al Ameri pointed out that the application will contribute significantly to the management of time and effort because the application will contain the office numbers of all CPA employees. This allows the employee to communicate easily with all sectors while he is on the job in the field.

The Business Intelligence Indicators Program in the training and rehabilitation sector provides accurate and realistic indicators for analyzing employee data, managing programs, and accessing required data and statistics. This enables the development of plans and the identification of policies and mechanisms necessary for development in the field of business intelligence, and what decisions are based on. It also contributes to ensuring improved and rapid organizational performance and facilitating communication between employees and HR departments.

The launch ceremony witnessed the participation of numerous CPA officials and staff members, underscoring the collective commitment towards embracing innovation and fostering a culture of excellence in service delivery.
