Muscat – The preparatory meeting for the 31st Arab Summit, to be held on November 1-2 in Algeria, saw Arab foreign ministers discuss several topics, including the Palestinian issue and food security proposals, among a host of others.
The meeting also highlighted the topics to be presented at the Arab League Council, and reviewed draft resolutions to be submitted to the Economic and Social Council, as well as reports submitted to the Council, in addition to the report of the Secretary-General on the Arab joint action.
Ministers attending the Council meeting will also discuss Arab political issues, including the Palestinian issue, the situation in Yemen, Syria, Libya and Somalia, food security in Arab countries, as well as the latest regional and international developments, and their repercussions on Arab national security.
