MUSCAT: Muscat Electricity Distribution Company held an awareness lecture for a group of students from Manar Al-Alam School for Basic Education in the Wilayat of Seeb.
The lecture, held at its main office located at Airport Heights, aimed to bring awareness on electricity consumption.
The lecture was delivered by Engineer Raja’ bint Khalifa Al-Buraiki, a planning engineer in the company, in the presence of a group of faculty members.

The lecture dealt with how to educate students about the importance of electricity in daily life and to introduce energy conservation and its objectives.
The presentation also included how to calculate the consumption of electrical appliances and ways to reduce daily consumption and the need to purchase energy-saving household appliances.
