MUSCAT: With the approach of solutions ahead of Eid Al Fitr, the Consumer Protection Authorities in Wilayat Al Buraimi and Wilayat Al-Mazyona have been carrying out intense inspection campaigns in the markets and shops falling in its jurisdictions.
These inspections have been conducted to ensure the implementation of zero per cent value added tax (VAT) on exempted goods and to also make certain that price stability of goods is maintained.
