MUSCAT: In a major development, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has updated the travel guidelines for passengers coming to Oman.
In a decision issued on Monday, CAA said passengers aged 18 and above can present the result of COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival or within 24 hours after their arrival in the country.
“All passengers aged 18 and above are required to present a negative result of COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival or within 24 hours after arrival and a health insurance covering COVID-19,” CAA said in the circular issued to all airlines operating in Oman. However, CAA is yet to clarify on the procedure regarding presenting the PCR after arriving in the country.
