SALALAH: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism on Friday said hotel facilities in Dhofar Governorate can operate with a maximum capacity of 75 per cent, starting from today until further notice.
Due to Khareef season, hotels have been running in full due to increase in visitors to Salalah. The Ministry had earlier directed all hotels in Dhofar to operate at 50% capacity due to coronavirus.
“The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism issues a circular to hotel facilities to operate hotel rooms with a maximum capacity of 75 percent, starting from today until further notice, while adhering to the approved preventive measures,” Ministry said in the statement.
