TEHRAN: Dr. Ebrahim Raisi took the oath of office Thursday as Iran’s eighth president.
Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, His Excellency Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister attended the swearing ceremony in Tehran.
In his inaugural speech after being sworn in, Al Raisi vowed to protect the legacy of the Islamic Republic.
