MUSCAT: The Government Communication Centre (GC) has denied a “fake image” that is being shared on social media which stated that the governorates of Dhofar and Masirah has been closed on the orders of the Supreme Committee.
In a statement issued on Monday, GC said the image dates back to July 2020 has been manipulated. “There is no truth to what is being circulated about a statement issued by the Supreme Committee. The said image date back to July 2020 for a previous statement,” GC said.
