MUSCAT: The Supreme Committee’s decision to limit the entry of customers in shopping malls, restaurants and cafes by 50 percent is still in effect, the Government Communication Center (GC) has confirmed on Sunday.
In a statement issued, GC said there has been no change in the decision taken previously.
Early last month, in the wake of rising coronavirus cases, the Supreme Committee imposed the decision to restrict the entry of customers by 50 percent in shopping malls, restaurants and cafes across the country. “The decision to reduce entry to complexes, shops, restaurants and cafes to 50% of their capacity is still valid,” GC added.
