TOKYO: Oman’s official delegation took part in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Tokyo which began on Friday at 3pm.
This is the tenth consecutive presence of Oman in the Olympic Games which reflects the Sultanate’s commitment to take part in the top sporting events.
Omani swimmer Issa Al Adawi, was the flag bearer of Oman contingent during the march past at the opening ceremony.

Oman will participate in four categories namely swimming, shooting , weightlifting and athletics. The event will conclude on August 8.
