MUSCAT: Over 100 people from 18 families affected due to heavy rains have been provided shelter in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, Royal Oman Police said on Sunday.
“The Relief and Shelter Sector of the Subcommittee for Emergency Management in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate provided shelters for 18 families comprising 105 people and is following up the necessary care for them,” ROP said.
Oman has been witnessing heavy rainfall in the last three days, throwing life out of gear in many parts of the country.
