Oman lifts travel ban on passengers from Singapore, Brunei Darussalam

MUSCAT: The Supreme Committee on Friday lifted the travel ban on Singapore and Brunei Darussalam.

In a statement issued, the committee said the travel ban will be lifted on July 19. “The committee also decided to remove the travel ban on Singapore and Brunei Darussalam from the list of countries from which arrivals are prohibited from entering the territory of the Sultanate.”

Meanwhile, the committee has also decided to extend the Eid Al Adha full lockdown from July 20 to 24, cancelling the earlier decision of July 22.

During the full lockdown, all movement of individuals and vehicles will be prohibited. All commercials activities will be closed during this period. The full lockdown will end on July 24 at 4 am.
