MUSCAT: More than 16,000 commercial registrations have been recorded at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) last year.
16,895 registries have been registered in 2020, according to the Statistics Department at MoCIIP.
The recorded commercial registrations in 2020 included , (209) registries of limited partnership companies , (3296) of limited liability companies (LLC), (6) registries of closed joint stock companies (SAOC) , (8850) of an individual merchant companies , (2271) of one person companies (OPC), (342) registries of joint liability companies , and (1921) registries for companies of other legal forms .
