Some activities exempted from night lockdown during Ramadan in Oman: Minister

The Supreme Committee has imposed night lockdown throughout Ramadan between 9pm to 4am.

MUSCAT: Some activities are exempted from the night lockdown imposed by the Supreme Committee during the holy month of Ramadan.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, His Excellency Qais Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion said: “During the night lockdown movement ban which will be implemented during Ramadan, some activities will be excluded, including the movement of three tons of trucks, pharmacies on the shift system, and workers in the health and media sectors with a prior permit.”

To contain the spread of coronavirus, the Supreme Committee has imposed a night lockdown throughout Ramadan period between 9pm to 4am.
