MUSCAT: Following temporary suspension in the wake of coronavirus, India has restored e-visas for travellers including Omani nationals, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) informed.
In a statement issued, MHA said e-visas under the sub-categories such as medical, business, , medical attendant, and e-Conference have been restored
MHA said citizens from 156 countries including Oman are eligible for e-Visas. However, tourist visas are still suspended. “Electronic Visa (e-Visa) under sub-categories other than e-Tourist Visa, namely, e-Business Visa, e-Medical Visa, e-Medical Attendant Visa and e-Conference Visa has been restored with immediate effect,” MHA said.
