MUSCAT: Night lockdown includes preventing any movement within the same province or between governorates, the Government Communication Centre (GC) clarified on Monday.
Oman on Sunday entered into a nationwide night lockdown with movements of individuals and vehicles banned between 8pm to 5am until April 8. The night lockdown is aimed at containing the spread of the rising coronavirus cases in the country.
“The decision to prevent movement of individuals and vehicles is in effect during the period from 8 pm to 5 am. The decision includes preventing any movement, whether within the same province or between governorates,” GC said in the statement.
