MUSCAT : More than 15,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine will arrive in Oman on Thursday, according to His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi, Minister of Health.
Speaking in an interview with Oman TV, Al Saidi said the vaccine campaign will start on December 27. “We will receive 15,600 doses of vaccine on Thursday and it will be launched on Sunday,” he informed.
In the first stage, the target groups include most vulnerable to contracting the virus, which include frontline workers, people with chronic diseases and elderly.
