MUSCAT : Knowledge Oman President, Balqees Sulieman Al Hassani, has been confirmed as a latest keynote speaker, among 25 professionals from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Kenya, to join the upcoming “Women in Leadership 2020” Seminar. The seminar is scheduled to be broadcasted online on two consecutive days, 23^rd and 24^th of November 2020.  

“Women, like men, can lead and indeed transform an organization positively. They only need the necessary support, guidance and trust in their capabilities in order for them to demonstrate their excellence. I look forward to share the secrets that made women at Knowledge Oman deliver successful projects over the past 13 years” said Balqees. 

Under the theme of “Unleashing the powers, potential and positivity of Women in the work place”, the seminar will see selected professionals and senior leaders across the region share practical knowledge and experience in the form of speaking engagement on how they have managed to overcome various challenges at workplace. Balqees will focus her talk around how Knowledge Oman engages, support, develop and promotes women in leadership positions through its structure and organization. 

Since 2008, Knowledge Oman has managed to launch society initiatives in the form of seminars, workshops, programs, and activities along with 35 partners locally and internationally attracting over 80,000 registrations and 700 volunteers across the years. Knowledge Oman received 4 awards that include an outstanding contribution to the cause of education from the World Human Resource Development (HRD) Congress. Members of the platform comprise of a multinational group of both locals and expatriates living in the country with a passion for creating, sharing, and exchanging knowledge.
