MUSCAT: Pakistani expatriates across Oman have been urged to celebrate their nation’s 73rd Independence Day on Friday from the comfort of their homes.
While Pakistan Social Club (PSC) will have a flag hoisting ceremony, it will be live broadcasted on social media at 3pm on Friday to mark the celebrations virtually.
His Excellency K.K. Ahsan Wagan will also address the Pakistani community live on social media. “Keeping in mind the health and safety of all, we will not be hosting any gatherings or programmes on our premises, however, it will be live on our social media platforms,” a PSC official added.
