MUSCAT: The Supreme Committee has decided to lift the closure between governorates at 2pm on Friday. However, the movement ban will continue.
In a statement issued, the committee said the decision to advance the date of reopening governorates was taken n in the wake of tropical depression to facilitate the movement of citizens and residents. The decision, however, does not include Dhofar Governorate which will continue to be closed until further notice. The committee had earlier decided to lift the closure on August 8.
The movement ban will continue with reduced duration starting from August 8 from 9pm to 5am
