MUSCAT: Muscat Municipality has urged all commercial activities including stores to close before 7pm movement ban everyday.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the Municipality warned that stores violating the movement ban will face legal measures. Oman imposed a 15-day nationwide lockdown on July 25 to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. While the country has closed all its governorates, it has also imposed a movement ban from 7pm to 6am until August 8.
“It is necessary to adhere to closing the stores before the evening movement begins at 7pm and those violating will have to face legal measures,” the statement from Municipality said.
