MUSCAT: 256 Omanis and 156 expats died due to coronavirus, taking the total tally to 412 in the country.
According to the data provided by the Ministry of Health, 53 people have died in the last five days. It is worth noting that, 60,240 Covid-19 patients have recovered, while there are only 18,329 active cases.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health will temporarily suspend the announcement of daily coronavirus cases registered in the country due to Eid Al Adha holidays.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, MOH said it will temporarily suspend announcing the cases from Friday, July 31 to Tuesday, August 4. MOH said it will announce the cases recorded starting from Wednesday, August 5.
