MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq has pardoned 433 inmates convicted in different cases on the occasion of Eid Al Adha, the Royal Oman Police said on Tuesday.
The pardoned prisoners include 217 expats, the ROP said in a statement.
“The royal pardon is timed with the occasion of the Blessed Eid Al Adha and reflects care for families of those inmates,” ROP added.
