MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested a citizen for violating the lockdown restrictions and wandering at night on a motorbike during the movement ban on Sunday.
In a statement issued online, ROP said the incident happened in Sohar in North Al Batinah Governorate. “ROP has referred him to the judicial authorities to complete the legal procedures,” the statement said.
The movement-ban across the country begins at 7pm and ends at 6am everyday until August 8.
