MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police praised the cooperation of citizens and residents in implementing the movement ban that began at 7pm on Saturday.
The Sultan’s Armed Forces in coordinating with ROP closed all governorates as part of a nationwide lockdown till August 8.

In a statement issued to the Oman News Agency (ONA), ROP said the public has shown their understanding in adhering to the movement ban. “Citizens and residents have shown their understanding of the goals for and we must appreciate their commitment to all necessary measures,” the statement said.

The movement ban commences at 7pm everyday and ends at 6am.
