MUSCAT: The Sultan’s Armed Forces in coordination with the Royal Oman Police closed all governorates in the country as the nationwide lockdown began at 7 pm on Saturday.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Defence said all checkpoints at the entry and exit of each governorates has been activated.
The complete movement bans will be until 6 am everyday till August 8.

As part of the lockdown, the Royal Oman Police has called-on everyone to support the government in helping to reduce the number of Covid-19 cases.
According to ROP, patrolling will be intensified within each governorates during the movement ban from 7 pm to 6 am. Pedestrians and transport movement has been completely banned during this time. OMR 100 will be against those violating the lockdown decisions.
