MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has informed that it will close all governorates from July 25 to August 8 to contain the spread of coronavirus outbreak.
In a statement issued on Thursday, ROP also informed that no movements will be allowed including individuals from 7pm till 6am during the lockdown.
“In the light of the decisions made the Supreme Committee for tackling the COVID-19 pandemic , the Royal Oman Police announces total lockdown amongst the Sultanate’s Governorates in coorperation with the Sultan’s Armed Forces starting from July 25 until Saturday, August 8,” ROP said.

“All movement will be prevented across all Wilayats of the Sultanate between 7pm and 6am , all forms of movement by individuals will not be permitted,” ROP added.
