MUSCAT: As many as 15 stranded residents who are mostly students have returned to Oman after obtaining the approvals.
Residents have returned from US, Canada, London, Zurich and Frankfurt. Easy Travels and Tours have facilitated the approvals and travel for the students and their families.
“We feel happy to help them in this time of the pandemic. Most of them were stranded due to the airport closure,” said Ejaz Kazi, General Manager of Easy Travels.

Last week, Easy Travels facilitated the return of 23 students from US, Canada and Europe.
Meanwhile, earlier in the day, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport confirmed that residents who are stranded outside the country can return to Oman by obtaining permits to travel from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
