MUSCAT: The members of the Supreme Committee will address the media on Thursday, July 23 to discuss the latest developments of the coronavirus outbreak.
A top official has informed The Arabian Stories that the members will discuss the details about the nationwide lockdown imposed by the Supreme Committee from July 25 to August 8.
His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi, Minister of Health, officials from Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Sultan’s Armed Forces and Royal Oman Police will attend the press meet.

On Tuesday, the Supreme Committee announced that as part of the lockdown, it has decided to prevent the movement and closing of all public places and shops during the mentioned period from 7:00 pm until 6:00 am during the lockdown period. Patrols and checkpoints will be intensified during the day hours.
The Committee also banned all types of gatherings especially Eid prayer and traditional Eid markets.
