MUSCAT: Pakistan schools in Oman will soon announce relief measures to support parents who have lost jobs in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking exclusively to The Arabian Stories, His Excellency K.K. Ahsan Wagan said Pakistan schools across the country introduced immediate measures to support the parents including reducing the fees. “Nearly 6,000 students are studying in all these schools here. The standing committee that overlooks these schools immediately ensured that they take care of the safety measures of the students and staff. They have also introduced certain fee relief measures to reduce the burden of the parents who are affected due to the pandemic. Pakistan schools are doing its best to support parents,” he said.
“On my instructions, they have cancelled all extra fees. We are also in the process of announcing certain relief measures to those parents who have lost jobs,” Wagan informed.

“We are with the parents and students in this time and to ensure that they are protected,” he added.
