MUSCAT: As the coronavirus pandemic continues to grow in the country, the infections have significantly increased among the citizens.
According to the latest data provided by the Ministry of Health, a total of 9,702 Omanis have been infected with the virus in the last 10 days. On Sunday, of the total 1318 new registered cases, 1,009 are Omanis.
However, only 3,578 expats have been tested positive for the virus in the last 10 days. Of the total 56,015 infected cases, 36,098 have recovered.

Meanwhile, a total of 257 people have died due to the virus of which 129 are Omanis and 128 expats.
