MUSCAT: Nearly 1,700 stranded passengers will be repatriated in nine flights from Oman to various Indian destinations on Wednesday.
According to information received, eight charter flights and one Vande Bharat special flight will take-off from Muscat.
Five SalamAir charter flights will take-off mostly to Kerala, while two charter flights of IndiGo organised by World Malayali Council will depart to Kochi and Trivandrum.

An Oman Air charter flight carrying 284 passengers and three infants on board flew to Kochi on Wednesday morning. The repatriation charter flight was organised by OICC Oman.
In the last 45 days, India repatriated more than 15,000 stranded passengers from Oman in the wake of coronavirus outbreak.
