With 114 new cases, Muttrah’s COVID-19 tally crosses 5,000-mark

MUSCAT: With 114 new coronavirus cases, the total in Wilayat Muttrah has crossed 5,000-mark.

The total number of cases reported so far have mounted to 5,077. 1,395 patients have recovered and Muttrah now has a total 3,654 active cases. A total of 28 people have died so far in Muttrah due to Covid-19.

Meanwhile, Seeb once again reported the highest single day spike of 199, taking the total cases to 4,417. Baushar recorded 106 cases and the total tally now reached 3,667.

Oman on Wednesday confirmed 689 new coronavirus cases, taking the total tally to 18,887.
