MUSCAT: As Oman celebrate the first day of Eid Al Fitr on Sunday, hundreds of our health workers are in line of duty fighting the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

“It’s not time for us to rest. We need to protect our citizens and residents. We can celebrate once we completely wipe out this virus. We wish all of you in Oman a blessed Eid but stay at home and ensure you protect your family too,” said Dr. Mohammed Al Hashmi of Ministry of Health.

Dr. Talal Al Abri who is on duty today showed a symbolic poster greeting everyone in the country “Eid Mubarak” while he fulfill his national duty. “I would like to wish all my family, relatives, citizens and residents a safe Eid,” he said.

Oman has banned prayers in mosque, Eid celebrations and gatherings to contain the spread of the virus.
