MUSCAT: Oman’s Blood Bank Services is encouraging people who have recovered from coronavirus to donate their blood plasma to help current COVID-19 patients.
In a statement issued by the Government Communication Centre (GC) stressed that the need for plasma supplies helps to meet the increasing number if coronavirus patients. “As the initial results have shown a benefit from convalescent plasma, interested donors can contact via the WhatsApp 94555648,” the statement said.
Oman on Wednesday confirmed 298 new coronavirus cases, taking the total tally to 4,019.
